Two names that will guarantee that I am going to watch this movie: Tim Burton and Johnny Depp! The official trailer for Tim Burton's adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic tale has been released! Set to be in theaters in March 2010 (I know... a very long wait) the Disney pic includes Johnny (yes, let's go on a first name basis here) as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts. I am a big fan of the dark and beautiful Burton films, so am really excited about this one (yes, I am hopping on the spot, I'm that excited). Watch the fabulous trailer here... guaranteed you will be hopping up and down too!
I watched the preview the other night. It looks sweet. Maybe a bit darker than I imagined, but that isn't surprising considering the director... Ain't no way I'm going to miss this one though. :)
ReplyDeletehopping right along with you

ReplyDeleteMay of 2010 is a long time to wait. But that's also when I graduate college, so now I can look forward to not one, but two awesome things happening that month! That's right, I just compared my excitement about seeing this movie to that of my college graduation. I'm a weirdo. :-)
