summer fair








Some more pics today from our time spent at the PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) on the weekend. We tried to take some video and pics while we were on the rides, but they are a tad unflattering... lots of me screaming and with my eyes closed... so you won't be seeing those. Some of our highlights... riding the corkscrew coaster (I realize I forgot to take a pic of it), eating mini doughnuts, seeing the Superdogs show, bumping in the bumper cars, getting queasy on the tilt-o-whirl, seeing the farm animals (yesterday's post) and even winning a few small prizes playing carnival games.

    Awesome color shots! The last fair I went to, I won a prize because the guy didn't guess my age correctly. He had to be within two years but he guessed 19. Hehe. Take that, carnival guy! Outsmarted by a 22-year-old. (I can't even imagine what age he would have guessed if my boyfriend - 28 - hadn't been there. Maybe 15.)

    I love fairs and I love all the beautiful pictures that you've captured! Did you get to eat some funnel cake? That is my favorite part of going to a fair!

    Oh man, this looks like fun! I'm a roller coaster girl myself. I can't, unfortunately, do the rides that spin a bunch--I found this out in 8th grade when I passed out on one! That Superdogs show sounds awesome! Mmmm, mini donuts...any donut really lol :)

    Love It....I so want to go the PNE..I adore Fairs...especially the PNE...we sometimes will head down to the Lyden Fall Fair...much smaller.
