i am still full

I hope everyone had a great Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday! After all our stress, prep and worry, the whole dinner (our first traditional Thanksgiving dinner that we have made as a couple)went really well. The brined turkey turned out really yummy and juicy, the potatoes fluffy and creamy. and the cranberry sauce sweet and tangy. Of course, the one thing we forgot in all our rush was to make salad dressing... sigh, so lucky, my mother-in-law had some in the fridge. I am still stuffed from yesterday!

  4. Your dinner looks great! We postponed our Thanksgiving dinner to the American one this year just because of our hectic schedules - so now I'm left envious of your cooking just like our southern neighbours!

  17. Where's the stuffing? Is it hiding? I think you need a bigger plate...

  18. I really feel that I should have been there helping you eat all that. I mean, that is a LOT to take on by yourself, and I'm SUCH a good helper around the kitchen table . . .

    : )

    Happy belated Thanksgiving. xoxo

  24. Glad your meal was a success! Every year, all of my uncles wear sweat pants to Thanksgiving dinner lol :) It's all in the elastic I guess. Lucky for me, I don't like turkey, cranberries, or stuffing so while everyone else is wincing in pain I'm sittin' pretty :)
