Just wanted to share with you a cute little shop in town that has recently started carrying some of my little crafty things. Collage Collage (I know, isn't the name super cute?) offers an awesome collection of art and craft supplies, books, as well as limited edition art and craft objects. Just look at all those little jars of stuff!... I don't know why, but I get excited when I see jars of pipe cleaners, beads and glitter... I think because secretly, I want a craft room that looks and is organized as this in our place. And the best part?... they also offer art workshops for children 3-12! How fun is that. I already want to enrol our future little Bun in a class!... but until then, I think we'll definitely make a trip to start on a nice library.

Wow that's great! I have to say, at first glance I was thinking to myself, "Dang! This CAN'T be her studio???" You were one lucky chick with that first thought. But come to think of it, you're one talented chick and that's better. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new venue Valerie, that studio is awesome
ReplyDeleteoooh I LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that space!
We will have to check it out when we return. xoxo
Great looking shop!
ReplyDeleteI hope you sell tons there!
What a cute looking shop! I would spend a lot of time there.
ReplyDeleteThat place looks super cool - I actually thought it WAS your workspace before I started reading...ahhh...you can always dream, right?

PS - Don't forget to make it over to the blog starting Saturday for Eco-Clean How-To Week!
It's a very fun looking shop! We don't really have places like that where I live(suburban, retirement area mostly). If I drive an hour or so, I could find shops like that -maybe- in Tampa. Good luck in selling your work there. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on having your creations in a new venue, and what a lovely shop it is.
ReplyDeleteYeah I'm with you in wishing that my work space were so organized and attractive as Collage Collage...guess I'll keep dreaming.
looks fantastic... though tit was your party of a craft room though :)
ReplyDeleteyeah, I thought it might be your studio, too, and boy was I envious! Now I'm just envious because they are carrying your stuff! What a great space for anyone to play in. Bun will have lots of fun there when the time comes. Congratulations and love to you and your expanding family.
ReplyDeleteI love the banners across the top! They make the shop look like a party.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that's really cool that your husband worked at a big video game company. That's my husband's dream job. :)
I really like how it looks like the dream studio you would like to have at home instead of like a traditional store.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think you should hitch the bike wagon to his bike! You carried the bun around for almost a year while creating a nervous system, bone structure, brain, etc. from scratch. Now it's his turn to lug!
What a wonderful shop! I want to go there and play so badly!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! It looks so inviting & cheerful. I could see myself spending hours in there, wandering around just gazing :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute shop!
ReplyDeleteIt can not be better than that! What a great store! I LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! What a cute store ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiring space! I wish my studio was that organized, too. ^-^

ReplyDeleteI love how organised it is. I worship places that offer classes to young people, they are my fav. age to teach art to :) T.

ReplyDeleteCongrats! :) That's wonderful for you! I wonder if they have a little art shop like that near me - my 4 year old would enjoy that, I think. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletei love how colorful and happy it looks. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fun place!
ReplyDeleteWe have the launch for Foggy there this Saturday at 3! We will be doing arts & crafts and eating cupcakes from cococakes.
ReplyDelete(It will be a busy day, with the bun celebration just beforehand.)
Great great space! You are one talented gal! Great job :)
ReplyDeleteFunny, when I saw that first shot I just assumed that's where Valerie works! Wouldn't that be a dreamy space for a studio. Anyway the shop looks like the kind you could poke around in for a while :)
ReplyDeleteSo cool! We used to have a store in my town called 'Crafty' but alas it closed down. I bought my gocco printer there. Probably saves me money in the long run :) Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteValerie, what a neat place.
