magnificent magnolia

Things are blooming like crazy over here in Vancouver... so much so, that I actually got seasonal allergy symptoms over the weekend... in March!! Huh? I don't think I have seen and smelled so many blossoms so early in the year. I am prepared this year though... I got my prescription nasal spray yesterday, so am planning to enjoy these blooming beauties with clear eyes (and clear nasal passages)... so bring it on magnificent magnolia, bring it on!

  6. Beautiful photo of a magnificent tree. In California we always called those pink magnolia trees "Tulip Trees" and for years and years I had thought that the only color magnolia blossoms came in was creamy white...but just like Molly Ringwald, magnolias are "Pretty in Pink".

  9. Are you sure you're living in Vancouver and not paradise??? All the photos of snow, beautiful flowers, sceneries.. Why do I not get anything like this (or anything closer) in Singapore. :( Now I certainly got to add Vancouver on my to-travel-list.
