sweet treat
I headed down to the local bakery yesterday and picked up a few sweet treats - some polvoróns. Made from toasted flour, milk, butter and sugar, they are a lot like shortbread cookies, but a bit more powdery and less greasy. (That is the chocolate one you see there, and yes, it tastes as yummy as it looks!) All the little polvoróns even came wrapped in pretty coloured cellophane... so I had to snap a pic to share. Yummy!
THOSE LOOK DELISH! I wish I had some sweet treats right now!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you ar making me hungry for sweets! Looks good!

Hummmm...they look so yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm hungry now.
ReplyDeleteHave not heard about these sweet little delicacies, they look and sound divine. I'll have to check around my bakeries and see if they make such a concoction. Way down south in Dixie somethings don't bake very well in our heat and 99% humidity. :)
ReplyDeleteThose look awesome, especially because I'm getting kind of tired of Easter chocolate :p
ReplyDeleteOk, I am officially starving!
ReplyDeleteThese look yummy!!! And maybe something you can snack on while your reading a certain book? (hint, hint). Yep, you won our giveaway: http://hivingout.blogspot.com/2010/04/documentaries-in-april.html

Those look delish! Do they tell you how many calories are in them? Seems like all of the bakeries around here do that now & I can't bring myself to buy anything because of it. ugh..I suppose it's a good thing, though :)
