squirrel stare down
We encountered this little guy in the park over the long weekend.... oooh, it was a full on stare down.. a good 5 seconds. Perhaps I caught him off guard or in the middle of something. Anyways, made for a cute photo... and if you are curious... he broke the stare first.... Mr. Squirrel - 0 points, Roger and I - 1 point.
Is it just me, or do squirrels look perpetually surprised?
ReplyDeleteheheh...he is just too dang cute! xo
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Other than his slightly awkward position, it's a very lovely photo, with the buttercups! Squirrels are such funny little creatures. Glad to hear you had a longer attention span! ;o)

ReplyDeleteI agree with DK, squirrels always look surprised! That's one of the reasons I enjoy having them around; it's like they're in a perpetual surprise party. hehe!

Great capture Val. The little furry critter was probably trying to decide if you were a threat to his acorn stash or not. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww I love squirrels! I have a friend who thinks they're vermin and I have to cover my ears when she tries to tell me.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
Haha, great photo!
ReplyDeleteGood picture, you got the "moment." We have black squirrels where I live, and it's against the law to "taunt" them.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! I wonder what he's thinking as he is staring at you?
