the sky is falling
It's getting colder and wetter here as winter approaches, so we are trying to enjoy the last few sporadic days of sunshine and clear autumn air. The last few leaves are clinging to dear life on to their branches... so, today I thought I'd share some pretty pics my hubby Roger took on his way to work. I guess these pretty little leaves are always nicer to look at when you know you don't have to rake them.
Hi Valerie!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright red leaves this time of year... I passed by a tree today that almost made me stop and take a photo.... beautiful!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt just dumped a pile of snow on us over here in calgary, I'm actually having a snow day from the office (hurrah!)
are you ever right about the coolness in the air AND what about the mad wind yesterday and today. At least it's sun shiney out now though.
ReplyDeletegreat shots! i guess i should say i'm a fellow Vancouverite and it's awesome to find you and see your view of the city!
Lovely pictures!

ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, T. :)
Love that bottom picture...gorgeous colors!!
ReplyDeleteA sure sign that fall is almost over is when the deciduous trees are just about out of leaves to drop. It's also a omen that winter can't be far behind.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right; it is far better to marvel at nature's beautiful colors than have to rake them. :D
The photos are lovely your hubby has as good an eye at taking wonderful pictures as you do.
I love Autumn! That first image has awesome depth and color. Divine. Soon it will be winter and these photos of leaves will be a welcome relief. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful fall photos. I can smell the cool, crisp leaves...
ReplyDeleteWe just lost the last of ours on the maple out front - they have such amazing colors!
ReplyDeleteI think red is my favorite color too. The maple trees here in Georgia are just beautiful. The rain will soon take them away.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!! And I agree...the leaves are always prettier in someone else's yard!!
