winter stop
It snowed here yesterday morning, but as fast as it was here, it was all gone by the afternoon. So instead of the standard snowscape to share with you today... I thought I would share some public art blanketed in light snow (this installation is part of the Vancouver Biennale). It reminds me that we should all just stop and enjoy the fleeting moments of the snowfall.
Very adroit : )
ReplyDeleteWe just got piled on too, except it halfway melted and then froze solid so the roads were a mess for a few days :(
ReplyDeleteSometimes things pass too quickly while at others it seems as though time stands still.
ReplyDeleteThere is something calming about watching snow as it drifts, ever so silently, towards the earth...of course I've never seen a blizzard which may not be so calming to watch. lol
Very cool!
ReplyDeleteOh they look like giant lollipops :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice on Photoshop :)
Have a lovely weekend, Valerie, T. :)

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to visit Vancouver. You've posted about so many great art installations. No doubt - it's on our list of stops around the world.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. It does look like pink lollipops caught in the snow.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
Our resent snow storm was great fun and it lasted more than a day.
That is unusual for Georgia.
I love your sentiment about stopping to enjoy the moment! Also, enjoyed the picture!
