collage: oh dear, there goes the deer
So on the local news the other day, there was an announcement made to discourage people from having baby deer as pets. Apparently, many baby deer are mistaken to be abandoned (the mothers leave them for up to 24 hours and then return), but in fact they are actually fine. The thing that struck me as odd is that there must be enough people keeping these deer for themselves to run a news cast about it... weird. The thought of a deer in my 2 bedroom condo, or any house for that matter, seems like a bad idea - ummm... leaping and kicking wild animal mixed in with walls and furniture... yikes.
Love the collage! So cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I've definitely heard of people taking in baby deer... frightening.
I'll admit to being the kind of person who would want to keep a baby deer. :0
ReplyDeleteI adore deer, but would never have thought to have one as a pet.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collage!!
❤
ReplyDeletelol Now, see, we've had all sorts of random pets... but I just can't see me running around in the woods trying to kidnap a baby deer.
ReplyDeleteI want a deer, but not in our place! It would have to be a home with tons of land.
ReplyDeleteheheh...that is an interesting thought! My boys always say that they want a deer but umm...I don't think so. xo
ReplyDeletelol but baby deers are soooo cute :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely collage!
ReplyDeleteI don't think our dogs would be down
ReplyDeletewith that! hahha.
Love the collage!
I'm surprised anyone could be fast enough to CATCH a baby deer. I came upon a herd of deer when I was walking in the woods once. They were gone so fast, I almost wondered if it had been my imagination. There were both babies and adults, and they were all very quick.
ReplyDeleteThe new collage is precious. Was it inspired by the news report you saw?
I'm with you. I love my furnishings too much to let even the most adorable, tame fawn near them. Well, maybe if it had a broken leg ...
ReplyDeleteDeer are so cute, but yeah they would make a crazy pet! Love your blog and shop! Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteNot too mention TICKS and lyme disease!
ReplyDeleteI can see it leapin about and looking gorgeous...lovin the collage!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that keeping any wild animal is a good idea..
