first day of autumn

Today is the first day of fall! One of my fave things in the autumn is seeing all the pretty leaves change colours... and when no one is looking, shuffling and jumping through big piles of them (sorry to everyone that was raking... I tried to jump in an orderly fashion... heehee). Have a happy autumn day!

    Fall is my favorite season! I really love all the colors, though we have been having an unseasonably warm Sept. and the grass is still green and so are the leaves! Can't complain about the warm temps, but sure do miss all the fall colors.

    haha. When i was little, my dad used to make my brother and I rake every single leaf. Not, however, he just mows over them until they become mulch. Lazy...

    Those leaves are beautiful. The small trees here are starting to change... it will be peak fall foliage time here soon!

    I love the autumn! I think it's what keeps me in New England. I'm looking forward to some apple picking, pumpkin carving, and golden harvest cake this season! Hooray for the fall!

    that is one of the things I miss out on living in Los Angeles. We don't have seasons :(

    growing up in Colorado I know how great everything looks at this time of the year and that makes me miss it even more. So enjoy it for me :)

    Fall is my favorite season as well!! It just SMELLS different, and the sky seems bluer against the changing leaves. I love the scarves, and the scent of people grilling out. I don't know, I just feel more alive in Autumn.

    my favorite season! i just wish it wasn't so hot and dry and "on fire" here in LA. but- luckily we are moving back east in a matter of weeks and i will be frolicking in the falling leaves in no time.
