olympics are coming

If you haven't already heard the 2010 winter olympics are coming to Vancouver, in fact they are about one month away. We don't actually have tickets to see any of the events (they were a tad pricey... some upwards of $200/ticket per person for the more popular sports - i.e hockey and ice skating), so Roger and I will hopefully be checking out the other Olympic budget-friendly related festivities around town. This is a shot of one of the venues (I believe curling) as they prepare for the big event... ok, it is a shot of the fence, so you can't really see the venue... but now you are even more intrigued aren't you.

  7. I love the Olympics staying up late to catch all the action. I would love to be so close, really a special time, enjoy! Where I live we get US and Canadian coverage, great to see two perspectives all day everyday.

  10. I must admit, I really wanted that dreamy blue Vancouver 2010 hoodie that Jillian (the bachelorette wore). It was sold at Aritzia. Okay, so I don't even pay that much attention to the olympics, and I normally don't wear clothing with words on it, but man I wanted that sweatshirt! Feels good to come clean about that ;)
