frosty days

Oh when will these cold days come to and end... I woke up freezing this morning, so had to turn on the gas fireplace (once again) and make a hot cup of tea. Roger took this lovely photo yesterday on his way to work... so I thought I would share. Hopefully the upcoming days will start to warm up.... brrrrrrrrr. Hope everyone has a happy weekend!

ps. Also wanted thank Janell for including one of my rainy day collages on her blog MooneysMusings!

  4. It is cold here too! The arctic blast isn't supposed to wander all the way down to Oklahoma!

Stay warm and enjoy your fireplace and snuggle up with one of your new books.

I think of you when I see the commercials for "The Lovely Bones". Hope you get it read soon.

  11. Lovely photo! The one good thing about ice is it makes all the colors beneath it pop.

Wishing you lots of warmth soon, and meanwhile, lots of hot tea to thaw your frozen bones!

  12. At -9 Celcius, and going down to -15 tonight, I would welcome the balmy weather in Vancouver. Just spent 15 minutes shovelling the windrow of frozen sluch at the bottom of my driveway. Still spring will come, but not as soon as in beautiful Vancouver.
