garden party

Ok, after much delay, I am finally uploading the photos of our teeny summer patio garden. This year we have a tomato plant, rosemary, chives, and some hot pepper plants. And just to clarify, my green thumb is largely due to Home Depot (the only thing this year that was grown from seed are the chives). But that's not really cheating, right?... I mean, the plants are thriving, so the 'ol thumb is somewhat green?

  4. oh absolutely your thumb is green. Buying the plants is just the beginning, you have to keep them alive and let them grow and produce, after all. Nature and nurture, you know? Lucky you, even a teensy garden is still a garden, and ripe tomatoes right off the vine are divine.

  8. No, it's not cheating to get the plants at Home Depot. Why would a busy person start from seeds?

It's the nuturing that counts the most.

  9. I think your little garden looks wonderful! Half the struggle is keeping your plants alive, so you definitely deserve the credit. We've got some rosemary too, but we have yet to use any of it. It's one of my favorite herbs too, so I need to get on that. Enjoy the harvest!

  10. You totally get to claim all of those. I've destroyed veggies that were already started so they're thriving due to something good your doing!

  12. A garden is a garden and doesn't matter if it was started from seed or from baby plants. It is the nurturing that puts the love in the garden...sort of like raising a child. We all know you put a lot of love in whatever you do, because it surely shows.:)
