I will admit, I loooove shoes and bags... and now that the pregnancy is over and my feet have finally lost their puffy swollen status, I can finally start wearing all my shoes again! Hooray! To celebrate (since, yes, it is a thing to celebrate when one has to wear the same pair of darn shoes for two months straight) we visited the Museum of Vancouver to take a peek at their new exhibit... which is on shoes, of course! But not just any 'ol shoes... the exhibit is a fashion retrospective on shoes of John Fluevog, Peter Fox and Ken Rice (entitled Fox, Fluevog & Friends). After seeing all the shoes on display, I have a huge hankering for some retail therapy.
You deserve some! I remember you posted a picture of your feet in a pair of flats while you were pregnant.
Maybe I could hang a sign at the end of the road "Shoe Museum" and charge people to look at the 3 hanging shoe racks that have 2 pair of shoes hung on all the spots! LOL
I love shoes especially the high ones, but my feets hurt so early, so I wear sometimes.
I'm glad that you're more normal finally and can wear whatever you want! I get bored frecuently seeing the same shoes, so it has to be terrible being 2 months with them.
I can't wait till I move to San Jose because then they'll actually carry size 5 shoes! I won't get stuck wearing little boy sandals and sneakers. That looks like a great exhibit.
that's a neat display. it's like my greatest dream and worst nightmare (i love shoes, but i hate feet. go figure). congrats on the normal-size tootsies. everything is a reason to celebrate. :)
I've got a thing for shoes too and wish that heels came more comfy since I've resorted to flats for cuteness. I could use some therapy right about now! : )
I think I read an article somewhere about this exhibit! Neat photos, I am a total shoe addict too, although fortunately since I love collecting bright cute ballet flats I can satisfy my fetish for not too much $$.
LOL "Retail Therapy"!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a neat exhibit, looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm not huge on shoes because I can never find ones that both look awesome and are even remotely comfortable... but I can appreciate them ;)
