craft clear out - part 2

My craft clear our continues! Next up on the lot for sale are some cute wood burned memo boards. Each board is lovingly burned by hand and comes with a little wooden easel stand. They were originally $30, and now they are 50% off at $15. Now that we have two wee ones in the house, I am devoting less time to wood burning… wood burning and children… yah, you get the picture, not the best mix.  Find them in the Etsy shop here, here, and here.

Last week, I posted some new wedding cake topper designs I have been working on. Here are a couple more designs to add to the mix. The first one is for the deer-ly beloved couple (yes, I am a total nerd for using that pun, but it had to be done), and the second one comes as a set of five trees with heart branches. I love taking photos... and the hubby, well he loves it even more than I do. We are saving up to try and get a Nikon SLR camera (dreamy sigh)... that is high on our wish list right now. I get giddy just thinking of having one. Can you imagine how many deer I could capture with a Nikon in my hands ?... the answer is lots. Let me know what you shoot with and how you find it! collage: oh dear, there goes the deer

So on the local news the other day, there was an announcement made to discourage people from having baby deer as pets. Apparently, many baby deer are mistaken to be abandoned (the mothers leave them for up to 24 hours and then return), but in fact they are actually fine. The thing that struck me as odd is that there must be enough people keeping these deer for themselves to run a news cast about it... weird. The thought of a deer in my 2 bedroom condo, or any house for that matter, seems like a bad idea - ummm... leaping and kicking wild animal mixed in with walls and furniture... yikes.

The start of a new week means a new collage posting today! And something bright and cheery is always good for the Monday blahs. I think the girl in the collage is too busy smelling the flowers to notice the large deer snoring under the garden bush. Perhaps she is still dreaming of the weekend. (Look for the new piece in my shop!).
