Hope everyone had a great long weekend! I am recovering  from a chocolate hangover... I guess one can eat too many egg shaped treats after all. Here's a little snap of Jasper's little Easter basket... two egg hunts later and he was still asking for more!

An updated preview photo of some of the new laser cut wood I had recenlty got done. I will be unveiling these new goodies at the two craft shows coming up in the next two months. I know, I am still being vague about what they are... I will be unveiling them here and in the Etsy shop soon! The suspense is killing you, huh?

hey momma

Another new card design to share today... this one for Mother's Day. Ok, that day is still a ways away, but I just finished these last week and am kind of excited about the cameo design and needed to do a show-and-tell. I had trouble choosing which colour would be best, so I decided to offer it in both yellow and pink. Check them out in the shop here. Now, to brainstorm some ideas for Father's Day ones...

This past weekend was full of sunshine here in Vancouver, and now it is gone.... forecast is rain and clouds all week... sigh. :( Well, at least some of the flowers are out. Here is a pic of some sunny blooms I saw over the weekend... ahhh, seems like a distant memory.

making his mark

With this wacky weather lately, we have been spending some cozy afternoons inside this week. To keep the wee one occupied, I decided to to break out the 'ol crayons and coloring book. Here is one of Jasper's lovely pieces... he is currently fanatic about purple, I think in part because that is one of the few colors he can actually say. If he were to title this piece it would be called “Puh-pul Meow-Meow” (yes, he hasn't figured out how to say the word Cat yet either). ;)

rain or shine

The weather here in Vancouver has been all over the map lately... rain, then snow, high winds, and sunshine... and that just happened in a course of one day! So as an inspiration, two new weather-inspired greeting cards in the Tiny Cub shop. Am thinking of turning these into larger prints for the wall as well... will wait and see what the feedback is first! ;)

I have been busy working on some new greeting card designs for the spring season... so this week I will be posting them here on the 'ol blog and listing them in my Tiny Cub shop. Here is the first batch... larger versions of my mini cards. Plus the larger cards now have that additional wooden touch... hooray for woodgrain!
