snowshoe day

Yesterday morning we went snowshoeing up on one of the trails at Mount Seymour in North Vancouver. After some huffing and puffing and a little bit of grumbling and a few curse words, we were rewarded with some awesome views of the local north shore mountains. Apparently there are several more peaks further on (as in further up), but we'll have to save that longer trek for next time!

How beautiful! Our temperatures will hit almost 80 today. I'm guessing winter is over in Texas, but I could be wrong. We've had Easter snowfalls before!

I'm pretty sure that all of my snoeshowing adventures always involved curse words. :)

i love mountains. i've only ever been up a few in person (include mount grouse... grouse mountain? something?) in vancouver when i went to visit my friend when i was in grade two.

i hit up banff last year when i was in calgary for a conference, and gaaahd i finally figured out what all the fuss was about. ;)

so majestic!

Don't we live in a beautiful place? I hiked up Mt. Seymour last summer, there was still snow up top in late July!
