One of my goals this year is to try and use existing craft materials that I have kept or stockpiled over the years... I seem to hold on to a little bit here and there with each project, and now my craft closet is bursting at the seams. I have a box full of different off-cut sized wood veneer... they are all so pretty... still not sure what to do with them... will have to brainstorm this week!!

A craft closet bursting at the seams and a ton of wood veneer? Sounds like a problem I would love to have! I'm sure you'll do something super cool with the veneer.
There was a cool project that I saw years ago where a designer cut out circles/round shapes and adhered them to a glass hurricane lamp - it was pretty cool!
PS I'm jealous.
I've done that too - gone through all my accumulated craft supplies with the intention of using them before I buy more. But then I get the chance to go to Michaels and it just doesn't happen.

glad to know there are others out there who stockpile, too. You just never know when inspiration will strike, so one must be surrounded with all those lovely possibilities.
