signs of life

Woohoo! Upon watering my little garden this morning, there are signs of life! We have three tomatoes on our little plant so far... hopefully some more to come. Now we'll just have to wait until they turn red. Hmmm, I think waiting is the hardest part... will they ripen faster if I keep staring at them? (Yes, I am a bit impatient sometimes).

Happy tomatoes they are! Mine are almost ready to be picked, there is nothing like fresh organic veggies from the garden.

Maybe sing something for them?

Yay! I had to leave my herbs behind in my move to California but thanks to IKEA's little starter kits, I now have some little basil, parsley, and chives sprouting.

ooooh congratulations! I planted my tomatoes too early this year and they're almost done producing.

I hope they're big and delicious :)

Homegrown tomatoes are the best. They're coming along nicely.

That os awesome and I am jealous, we were a little late planting ours.

No, sorry they will not ripen any faster if you stare at them but if you talk to them that is a different matter :) T.

Nothing better than hot off the vine! I got mine in late and am still waiting too!

I love fresh garden veggies- they will be red soon enough- and ready for a salad (or something delicious!) :)

I'm afraid to plant tomatoes! The one time I did they got diseased. Yours are so cheery. :) But I do grow sunflowers, they are foolproof.
