whooooo's that up in the tree?

Spotted last week on one of our stroller walks in the park... two fluffy baby owls sitting high up in the tree and curious as can be. It is rare that I ever see real owls in trees around these parts, let alone two baby ones! Aren't they cuties? It even looks like one of them is smiling and giving the other one a kiss in the top photo.

how awesome is that? Just catching up after two weeks of being away, looks like you've been busy getting out for walks and visiting the farm, I'd have gotten the flat of berries too!

ooooh lucky you!! So adorable and so perfectly destined for the two of you to see them, knowing how much you love owls. I have only seen owls on walks a couple of times and I've never seen baby owls. That is awesome! I love your photos. It really does look like one is smiling and kissy-ing the other one. xo

wow that's amazing! The other week I saw three hawks in the cemetery, just hanging out and fighting over a dead squirrel. It was very eerie!

oh my that's wonderful! How cool!!! There's a famous hawk that lives in an apartment bkdg on Central Park called Pale Male that I would love to see one day. My sister saw him eating a pigeon one day, and when he took off he was huge, an enormous wing span. Nature right in front of us...

They are pretty cute...so round and fluffy. I don't think I've ever seen an owl outside of a zoo, so you're really lucky!

Such nice shots! I think I would have been doing the happy dance if I had seen that in person.

Have a great day, T. :)
