I just got some new vintage books this month... which will soon be turned into a new batch of collages! Will try to work on some here and there between baby time, in order to have some new pieces for the upcoming holiday season. Yes, you read correctly... holiday season. I figure I should jumpstart all the arts and crafts now for the winter shows, since my work pace has slowed a bit. Hopefully, baby likes watching mommy craft! ;)

collages in waiting
I just got some new vintage books this month... which will soon be turned into a new batch of collages! Will try to work on some here and there between baby time, in order to have some new pieces for the upcoming holiday season. Yes, you read correctly... holiday season. I figure I should jumpstart all the arts and crafts now for the winter shows, since my work pace has slowed a bit. Hopefully, baby likes watching mommy craft! ;)

Holidays already... yeesh where did the summer go?
Good to see you're getting out the collage supplies and preparing to dive back into your craft.
Yes, unfortunately babies do take a chunk of time between feeding, and bathing and changing diapers and then just plain cuddlin' and lovin' 'em to pieces...wouldn't want it any other way. :)
You will do amazing things with those bright and fun images!
those are lovely, you work is lovely, I can only imagine how fabulous the new pieces will look once they are all finished up. I'm getting ready for the holiday season now too, I need to, otherwise I'd never be ready on time!

Never too early to start preparing for the holiday season. I am trying to get motivated myself but am still trying to hold on to the last days of summer!

Last year my due date was December 13 (and surprisingly she was born that day). I gave myself a very rigid deadline to have all my Christmas gifts finished and purchased by December 1st. I'm getting an early start again this year. Hoping that will help save my sanity.
Those books look wonderful. Hey, wait a minute, I think I read some of those when I was a kid!

Holidays.....goodness time flies. I feel so far behind. I have the start of a blog post, a new design for a halloween card, looking for a special theme fabric for a customer etc.
