spooky train
Halloween is fast approaching... hooray! To get into the Halloween spirit, we visited the Stanley Park Ghost Train for our annual spooky ride (only a little spooky, of course, since it is for kids of all ages). The theme this year was Alice in Nightmareland. The wee one pretty much slept the entire train ride... but I guess hard not to when you are too little to see the actors and scenes while being genlty rocked in a train in the dark. At least we didn't have to worry about him being scared. I'll post some more Halloween goodness soon!

Can't wait to see them!

What fun to start family traditions even if they sleep thru them :)
Have a lovely day T.:)
Oh my goodness - I am totally jealous - that looks quite awesome!
Looks like a fun time! :D
Oh how I miss Stanley Park and all of its fun. So cute that your little sweetie fell asleep the entire ride. xo
so much fun! I love that the alice pictures are from the original book drawings and not disney

Very cool! Wish there was something like that around here!
that looks liek so much fun!
How fun are those decorations? Thanks for sharing :)
Trains have an atmosphere unique to themselves. Can imagine the clickity-clack of the train wheels, along with its rhythmic swaying motion in the darkness made the Halloween fantasy more realistic and much more fun. In a couple of years little Jasper will be able to better enjoy it ... along with Santa and the Easter Bunny. My children are all grown up now and I so envy you for all the lovely memories you are about to make for yourselves and for your little one. How fun and have fun. :)
Sounds like a wonderful train ride...how fun and spooky too!
That looks fantastic!
This years ride continues to be a major topic of conversation with the Peanut. She insists that she was not even a little bit afraid and was very brave to everyone she tells but she was snuggling in pretty close when the Queen started swinging her croquet mallet.
Now we're counting down to the bright nights train
Neat. :)
Spooky! Sounds very cool - a creepy train ride :) So excited for halloween!
