february giveaway - win an embroidery pattern and two pin brooches!

It is that time of month again... as in giveaway time! A bit of a twist to this month's giveaway too... there are three opportunities to win, since all good things do happen in threes right? I am such a fan of Sublime Stitching, that I decided to offer three of their awesome iron-on craftopia patterns as a thanks to all my readers and followers. And to add a Cabin + Cub touch to the prizes, each pattern will also come with two cute 1" patterned button brooches made by yours truly.

Enter to win by posting a comment telling me what your favourite craft tool or material is... maybe it is your trusty glue gun (or perhaps you are really hardcore and also have a glue gun with matching holster), or do you cherish your knitting needles, or perhaps you are a little too addicted to your bedazzler... let me know! Post your comment and you could be one of three winners!

A random draw will be made next Wednesday (February 23rd), so check back to see if you win! Please remember to include some sort of contact info (etsy shop, blog, website, or e.mail address) and please only one entry per person. Good luck!

I love my spring open scissors, not sure who made them. I'm pretty sure they're Fischer or something lol. I haven't sewn in a year, can't wait to have no dogs so I can start again :)

My embroidery scissors! The metal handles have a swirly purple/blue/red finish, and they're so pretty sometimes I stop what I'm doing just to stare at them...

Sad, I know!

My favorite tool is probably my embroidery thread. I have practically every color, it's really quite ridiculous!!!

I love paint. Paint, paint, and more paint. It can be so transformative and it's one of the cheapest ways to breathe new life into something.

I think my favourite craft tool is my tape runner by Scrapbook Adhesives. It's easy to use and the right amount of sticky.
Thanks for the giveaways! The buttons are super cute.

Ooo, that's a tricky one. It's pretty boring but I couldn't live without my little book of sewing needles. It's a vintage brown leather book-like case that fastens with a tarnished brass popper, it opens out to white cotton 'leaves' that you pin the needles through. I have needles of every shape and size and regardless of whether I'm knitting or sewing, at some point I always seem to reach for this little thing!

Oh lordy if only there was a favorite tool...that'd mean that I had some sort of focus...but alas I jump from one genre to another and the favorite depends on the day....

My favorite craft supply in the whole world is polymer clay. And if I had to choose a tool, I'd say a pair of pliers.

What a fun, crafty giveaway!

I'm all for hot glue and scissors. An odd but necessary combination considering that I need to break and mend things constantly in art-- in lief as well. Thanks for the opportunity and I'll be following!
