pick me pick me

After waiting for what seems like forever, one red tomato on our little plant was finally ready to be picked. And now the waiting game for the others continues... hmmm... maybe if I stop looking and checking on them they will ripen faster... one can hope, anyways.

Tomatoes, they are my favorite from the garden. I am patiently waiting on my eggplant and green peppers.

Yum! All of a sudden they all seem to ripen at once and then you'll have a ton!! That's what always happens to me every year.

After trying for three years to grow 'matoes in our garden this year we decided to forgo the red gems and make plans for next year when we will repurpose one of the Peanut's yard toys into a mini green house. Also in the grow plans will be peppers both sweet and spicy.

Your garden is always a good source of healthy envy. You have such a green thumb.

I have one single poor tomato plant that accidentally sprouted in the snail tank, because I was feeding them tomatos. So I repotted it and now it is huge, but no signs of flowers. I think indoors tomatos just do not do as well as outdoor ones. Well done on yours!

And as I know from the past experience - observing has no effects on ripening, but it makes you feel like it takes longer :D
