cotton candy trees

One of may favourite times of the year is when the cherry blossoms are blooming and start falling from the sky. When I drive home with the kids from their grandparents place, we count and call out the “cotton candy” trees we pass along the way. Once these are gone though, I will have to find a new car game… hmmm, hopefully they will be around for at least another week or so.

This is the second photo I've seen like this today. So pretty! I'm super jealous, as it's freezing and gloomy and raining here, and we don't even have leaves on the trees yet. Can't wait for warmer weather and flowers!

P.S. We play car games all the time- mostly spelling games. haha

Valerie, your photo, like the tree, is beautiful. I love the pattern of the branches against that clear, blue sky.

Awesome shots V. :)

Car games are so much fun :)

We had a wind storm last week and the blossom petals from our neighbours tree were covering 2 of our cars parked on the driveway, it was so amazing, so perfectly space and flat and pink, I wish I had got a shot of that, oh well, maybe next year :)

Have a lovely week, cheers, T. :)
