Market will be span from noon until 6pm. Its a perfect time to start shopping for the holidays! See you there!

I stopped by one of my favorite shops today Les Amis du Fromage to put together a cheese platter for a potluck tonight. I could spend hours in there perusing the shelves since there is so much selection, however the thought of spending way over my budget and coming home with a giant cheese wheel deter me from lingering there too long. And what to serve with the cheeses?... well one of the best crackers ever - Raincoast Crisps! A little weird, I know, to be excited about crackers... but these are really really good!
How very exciting! My collage and a couple of my notebooks have been featured on Poppytalk today as part of the New Affordable Art features. It is one of my most favorite blogs and is from Vancouver too! I can't help but to gush about the great things that come out of this city. Check out the blog for great postings on art, design, and things handmade!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US! Up here in Canada, we've already celebrated ours in mid-October, so I have already had my turkey fix. Thought I would share a pretty picture my hubby Roger took recently since its so pretty and fall-ish. A block away from our house is a street-lined with rows and rows of bright red maple trees... we can walk over and enjoy them... and not have to worry about raking leaves. Yay!
I envy those who can bake such lovely things. While I like to cook a lot, my muffin tins and cake pan are still pretty much brand new. The thought of myself ingesting a dozen cookies fresh from the oven in one sitting is probably the main reason I refrain from baking... so dangerous! In this collage I think she is thinking the same thing.. "not only do I want cake, but I want some cookies too!"
Yay! The notebooks that I printed with my print gocco are finally up in the shop! This time around I have made two new styles... one with a happy blue whale and the other with a pair of singing birds. Both are made out of 100% post consumer recycled paper, so they are good for the environment as well. Check them out in the shop today!
A collage to share with you today. I used to be in a choir when I was in high school - there I quickly learned that I have a bit of a phobia singing into microphones. Alas, it was never meant to be, and karaoke still freaks me out today. A bit of a switch, I decided to give the girl the bird-like voice and the boy the nervous squeak... hence the title "she can sing better than he can".
