walk walk walk
These past couple of weeks have been very exciting. Our youngest son Cedar has started to walk… and walk, and walk, and walk. So now the chasing game begins. I have a feeling I am about to embark on a very long on-going workout.

park hopping
We took a little day trip this past long weekend to Joffre Lakes Provincial Park (top photo) and to Brandywine Falls Provincial Park (bottom photo). Summertime is always the best time to explore one's own surroundings, especially if they look like this. Enjoy the views! :)

bloedel floral conservatory

On the weekend, we made a venture to the Bloedel Floral Conservatory at Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver. The triodectic dome (which I might add, totally looks like something out of a Lost episode) is full of exotic plants, tropical flowers and lots and lots of colorful birds. We tried to get a few of them to talk, with no success. I'm sure they get very sick of visitors chanting repetitive words at them every day. I wouldn't be surprised if they held full lenghty conversations at night when all the people have gone.
