super sandwich

Another food post this week, since quite frankly I constantly have food on the brain now that I'm preggo. And for those of you looking at the pic and thinking, "I can't believe she is blogging about a sandwich." Believe me... it's an awesome sandwich, and you would blog about it too if it touched your lips. It's from one of my fave cafés here in Vancouver, Finch's Tea & Coffee House. All their sandwiches come wrapped in butcher paper and tied with brown string (the blue brie and prosciutto is my fave, but I had the applewood cheddar the last time which was just as yummy). I also love the vintage decor in the cozy place too! Hmmm... all this food talk is making me hungry now...

okay, now I'm hungry : )
I'm totally jealous of your sandwich. I just had tea and raspberry poptarts, which now seem quite underwhelming.

Boy, I'd love to have that sandwich for lunch!! And I love places where the menus are written on chalkboards -- theirs are really neat framed!

I've been checking out your blogs from the forums and now I'm following! You make it fun and interesting!

I think it's really cute that food that crept into your blog. Bravo for pregnancy!

That sandwich looks delicious. Since the Olympics I've been craving another trip to Vancouver, and that sandwich adds to the desire!

what a cool cafe - i had a similar sandwich yesterday, walked around the food court twice and lots of crappy fried food - so unappealing...lucky i found a healthy sandwich to eat! but i did top it off with a strawberry pastry...
