we're back!

Just wanted to thank everyone for all their well wishes! These past two weeks Roger and I have been nestling in with little Jasper, so I haven't been posting on this 'ol blog lately. I figured a daily post on the lack of sleep we're getting would get a bit redundant... haha. Things are going well though, so I will start up the postings again! Hooray! And because I am a new mom and have gone a little camera crazy... er ok, a lot camera crazy... today's post will be a baby post. I promise not to blog play-by-plays about my little one's daily digestion tales though. So anyhoo, here is a pic of one of our first stroller rides (and FYI, it was actually kind of cloudy and chilly that day here in Vancouver, so the hoodie and blanket were warranted).

sigh. I remember those first few weeks-although my reactions went like this; "is the baby breathing, I think the baby isn't breathing" wakes up baby, baby cries "why is baby crying? Something horrible is wrong!" repeat repeat

Glad you are happy and healthy. Welcome back. Love to Jasper

Enjoy your little snuggly cutey!! I was actually envious of your weather lately. It has been so hot here and then I took a peek at your weather on the weekend and was super envious. xo

I must have missed your last post, but congratulations! And Jasper is such a great name - original, but not weird. Wishing you and your family the best (and some sleep!)

(ps love the new office too!)

New babies do need attention...lots of it...and at all hours (I do mean ALL hours).
I doubt that any one of your many devoted followers were in the least bit surprised that a few days had past with out a blog post from you. It was pretty much expected.
Babies are meant to be cuddled and rocked and loved, so go ahead and enjoy and savor each precious second of little Jasper's babyhood. They grow up much too quickly...says me; a mommy of a daughter who is turning 40 this July...Lord where have the last 39 and a half years gone to ??? :D

Jasper....what a precious bundle.
It's amazing how a little ride in the stroller puts them fast to sleep.
I am enjoying my new granddaughter. I could stare at her all day.

Hugs!

Congratulations! He's a sweetie. I can relate to the new motherhood issues... my daughter it six months old. Glad I found your blog through etsy!

My friend, Kate, has a blog that focuses on motherhood (she also teaches an on-line motherhood writing class) and I know a lot of her readers are mother-bloggers themselves.
