It snowed here yesterday morning, but as fast as it was here, it was all gone by the afternoon. So instead of the standard snowscape to share with you today... I thought I would share some public art blanketed in light snow (this installation is part of the Vancouver Biennale). It reminds me that we should all just stop and enjoy the fleeting moments of the snowfall.
Sometimes things pass too quickly while at others it seems as though time stands still. There is something calming about watching snow as it drifts, ever so silently, towards the earth...of course I've never seen a blizzard which may not be so calming to watch. lol
Lovely photo. It does look like pink lollipops caught in the snow. How fun! Our resent snow storm was great fun and it lasted more than a day. That is unusual for Georgia.
My name is Valerie and I live in Vancouver, Canada. I have my own little company called Cabin + Cub where I work as a freelance designer and also create artsy and crafty items. I love drawing, making collages, cooking, snowboarding and traveling. My blog space is a place I love to share my work, everyday adventures, daily musings and inspirations. Thanks for visiting!

Very adroit : )
We just got piled on too, except it halfway melted and then froze solid so the roads were a mess for a few days :(
