collage: buried treasure
As a kid, I always thought it would be exciting to find buried treasure. I think it was more of the idea of actually finding it, rather than its contents that was the thrilling part... I mean, what is a little kid going to do with a chest full of gold coins?... (unless they were the chocolate kind, of course). Hmmmm... now I think it is quite the opposite... I have quite a few ideas (no shortage of them, actually) lined up in case I find buried treasure... a gal can dream, right?

Love this post. We live in Missouri...near the place where Jesse James grew-up...mu hubs fantasizes about finding burued gold he may left behind...lol!
finding a pile of gold coins would be wonderful, I can definitely think of a few things I would use it for :)
Ah since today is St. Patty's Day, maybe you could catch a leprechaun and get his pot of gold. ;)
We've all dreamed of finding buried treasure, perhaps that the child in us that gives us our dreams and the curiosity to imagine what adults might deem the impossible.
Geez Louise! - anymore I have the most difficult time typing out contractions such as "isn't" and "that's" !!! Guess I need to slow my brain down or speed up my typing fingers. :D
I think I'd be fine with either the chocolate ones or the real ones...good luck finding the end of the rainbow today! ;-)
I grew up in Texas and I use to bury "treasure" and then make maps on old grocery sacks. The map had to look authentic, I use to ask my mom if I could burn the edges. ha ha
It wasn't about the treasure, but the find, and I hadn't realized that until this post.
Have a lovely one.
I created a "pirate" theme birthday party for my little cousin one year. And we created treasure maps that would lead to a scavenger hunt until the pale of gold coins were found...It too fun.
Strangely, I when I was younger the thought of finding buried treasure would scare the bleep out of me. It was all David Kell's fault when he said there were bones in them too.
I loved those chocolate coins. Yes, a girl can dream.
Love the collage.
very cute! Devon's always on the search for treasure (which translates into anything sparkly)
