Just thought I would share a little cuteness that I got from the Got Craft craft fair this past weekend. Isn't she cute? One of the funnest things about doing shows, I find, is being able to trade items with fellow vendors... it always makes me a little less guilty, since I feel like I'm not really spending any money made that day. I got this cute little wooden doll and brooch from Kellie of The Ricebabies. Check out her cute etsy shop here. Hmmm... too bad I couldn't barter more often in day to day situations... I don't think the grocery clerk or gas station attendant will see eye to eye though.
what lovely items you traded. i agree wouldn't it be great to barter more. back in the day bartering was much more common eggs for fabric, cattle for grain etc. i agree my gas station attended probably won't take hand knitted dish cloths for gas...lol...but i can dream.
Her store is very cute! I know what you mean about bartering. I just recently put some of my creations in a local "craft cabin" and in browsing around, saw so many things that I LOVE. Don't know if I'll make any money in there...but I'll definitely come out with some beautiful handmade goodies. :)

Cute little "Red Riding Hood" doll and the brooch is sweet too. What a great trade you made, but then knowing your lovely items the other person also made a great trade. :D

Wouldn't it be a wonderful world to be able to barter everything? Your booth looks so sweet!

aw, that is a super cute brooch. I love the flowers in her hat. I'll have to check out her store...
