etsy pop-up at west elm

Some exciting event news for the month of May. My little shop, along with 17 other Vancouver Etsy shops have been chosen (by Jan of Poppytalk) to be part of the Etsy Pop-Up shop at West Elm!

Join us on Saturday, May 25th from 1pm - 6pm at the West Elm store and West Elm Market (next door) in Vancouver.

And for those of you wondering, “but aren't you due to have a baby around then?”... the answer is yes. So if you do happen to make it to the event, it will be my lovely sister who will be filling in for me that day. So no worries, no woman going into labour at the event. :)

poppytalk handmade: mixed tape

Some exciting news this month! I am participating in Poppytalk Handmade, an online marketplace featuring a compilation of all things handmade and vintage for this autumn season. There are lots of goodies to see from an international group of sellers... everything from art, jewelry, stationary, and gifts (although, good luck not trying to buy some things for yourself!). Come and visit me and some of the other lovely shops here until October 16th!

How very exciting! Jan from Poppytalk was nice enough to send over a press clipping the other day from Eigenhuis & Interieur. Sent to her by an artist from Holland, the article lists her wonderful blog (as well as many others), and to my surprise, features two cabin + cub designs!... woohoo! The fawn and swallow designs are from my bookplate and greeting card designs. I think this is a good kick start for me to try and start making official press kits this year :)

This week is the launch of Poppytalk Handmade's Holiday Madness & Boxing Sale Marketplace! From December 15th to January 9th the online street market will showcase over 100 online vendors from around the world (including myself!). Come by and visit and shop crowd-free - there are some great deals on handmade and vintage items by many talented artists and crafters! Above is just a small selection of a few of my favorite vendors at the marketplace.

Poppytalk Handmade's Holiday & Gift Market launched yesterday. Come and visit me along with over 100 other great artists and crafters showcasing their wares for the holidays. The online street market is open November 17 - December 12 with new things added to the market everyday.
