love makes the world go round
I am on a real illustration kick lately... not that I am complaining, of course. This makes up for those writer's block, well, in this case, artist's block moments that sometimes creep in and stay a little too long. Anyways, here it is... some colourful little hearts and love to brighten the day. Enjoy! (Check it out here).

hello hello
A bit of a lazy week for blogging this week, since we had a long weekend here for Canada Day this past weekend... and for some reason the mood has lingered. I don't even have the 4th as an excuse (Happy July 4th to those of you down is the US, btw). So, yes, it has been just pure laziness... well, just blogging laziness. I did work on a new art print... check it out here.

craftiness is happiness
I am admittedly addicted to crafting. I can't picture myself ever coming to a point where I am not making something... it is my little happy place. And thusly, a new art print is born! Craftiness is Happiness (available in three lovely summertime colours). Check them out in the Tiny Cub shop here.

sun print, rain print
Thank you to everyone who made suggestions of turning two of my greeting card designs into prints! Ta-Da... here they are. Just added to the Tiny Cub shop... my "Hello Sunshine" print and "Rain, Rain, Go Away" print. Oh yes, also wanted to mention that there will be a giveaway next week (not going to tell you what it is yet... will keep it a surprise)... stay tuned!

around the world
I have always loved tracking things on maps... I even had an etsy map for awhile where I would put pins in wherever I would ship my etsy sales (see here). So taking that as inspiration, I created a series of map print and pin sets. Each print is 8.5 x 11" and comes with 10 little map pins... there is even a white titling box for individuals to customize their map. What could the map track?... perhaps places you have travelled... places you want to travel... family members around the world... or even your own etsy map. Check them out in my etsy shop here!

home sweet home

Now that the colder (and often times wetter) weather is here, I am finding that we are spending a lot more cosy days indoors. With that as an inspiration, I thought I would create a colorful illustration for our little abode. Check out the new Home Sweet Home 8.5 x 11 print here in my Tiny Cub etsy shop.

new illustration: sewing drawer 1

A new illustration and addition to my etsy shop to share with you today. I decided to start a new series based on items and collections I have in my drawers... albeit a more stylized, clean and organized illustrative interpretation of what is actually there. This one is the first of the series so far, called Sewing Drawer 1. I'm working on another based on my knitting and crochet items, so will update on that one soon! Check out the new print in my etsy shop here. Happy Monday!ps. if you haven't already, come and enter my monthly giveaway!

may i have the envelope please...
Thanks to everyone who entered my September giveaway... over 80 entries! Hooray! Ok, ok.... get to the winner already and cut the intro short... I hear ya.The random draw was made from the lucky trophy cup this morning by my husband Roger.... and the winner of a 5 x 7 print of their choice is: Altered Beauty (blog: Altered Beauty) who says, "Picking a favorite is pretty much impossible! I love them all! They either remind me of myself or my husband. I think my three faves are the Birds at the Circus, Girl with Umbrella and the Boy with Fox. AMAZING. I would love for any of these to hang in my living room." Well, looks like you will have to narrow it down to one, Altered Beauty... Congratulations! (I am clapping harder than Vanna White here).
For those of you who did not win... don't fret... there is another giveaway coming up sometime in October! So stay tuned!
