collage: feeding the foxes

Once when we were at Stanley Park here in Vancouver, we observed a group of tourists feeding and taking pictures of raccoons. A woman held out some doritos in her hand and the raccoon hissed (horror movie style) and snatched them from her... and she laughed!... um.. ever hear of rabies, lady?... not so funny. Their tour bus driver, who also saw that this was happening too, thankfully told them to stop. Not sure what will happen to this guy in the collage... perhaps I should have made this one a two parter... the first one where he has an arm, and the second one without.

LOL, yeah, you won't catch me feeding those buggers. They roam through our neighborhood at night and my littlest dog was actually attached by one (not pretty). He survived but we lock him in at night now.
Those raccoons are scary!

Why would anyone feed wild animals! So glad someone told them to stop.

We have a afamily of Racoons living in our neighborhood, One of them was hanging in our cherry tree as we were about to leave on a family outing last weekend; so happy that we weren't heading for the backyard instead, I didn't notice him or her until we were about to back out in the car.

I think the look in your foxes eyes telles teh story of exactly what's going to happen. Great collage

Cute collage! The bus driver is probably used to being a nanny to the tourists. I don't know why, but it seems to me sometimes that perfectly smart people go on vacation and seem to lose their brains.

oh that is SO funny. i think raccoons are pretty creepy, actually. i have seem my share of them on camping trips as a kid... once even jumping onto our picnic table WHILE WE SAT THERE to steal oreos! seen a few that appeared suspiciously rabid as well.

love the foxes though... ;-)
