turkey coma

A little late in posting today, since it is the Thanksgiving holiday here in Canada.... well, that and I am suffering from a major case of turkey coma and slept in a bit. We had the family over for a big feast yesterday, so it was a long day of chopping, basting, mashing, baking and eating, of course. I will probably recover from this coma by tonight, when we'll be chipping away at the mountain of leftovers. Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy belated Thanksgiving - can I say that?

It's been so warm here (Chicago) lately that I couldn't imagine having Thanksgiving! I associate all that turkey with cold weather.

Glad you had a good holiday!

Forget that Thanksgiving comes earlier in Canada! Happy Festival, even though it's a late wish! It always felt peculiar doing a turkey dish in October when we lived in Alberta between 1975 and 1987 - having been used to getting all fussed up for the Christmas festivities till then! My word, though, the pictures indicate you did everyone proud!
