collage: beware of hissing kitty

The other day, while at my mother-in-law's house, I had put down my jacket, and when I cam back to get it, the cat was curled perfectly on top of it, as if it were a nest. It doesn't matter who's cat it is, but it seems that I am a cat magnet, which is ironic, since I'm super allergic to them. It's almost as if cats can sense that I can't pet them, so they make an even greater effort to try and woo me. I think they secretly get a kick out of seeing me sniffle and sneeze and my eyes slowly puffing shut.

I love this collage. I, too, am super allergic to cats, so I feel your pain. (Although would that make me a glutton for punishment because I actually HAVE a cat?) Haha.

I like your picture. I have a friend who is allergic. She told me she took in half a dozen strays! I could hardly believe it. Says she takes a lot of medication. *faint*

i love this one - that cat is so awesome! i wish i could buy every single thing you post.

my husband is a dog magnet, although he is monstrously allergic to them. they get closer for a pat, he gets to run for his inhaler... cats too. this is the reason we keep only a fish. ;-)

Hee hee if you weren't allergic to kitties they probably wouldn't have anything to do with you. I think they send out messages like "little hissing kitty" is doing to tell their feline friends about our short comings!

Actually, the very fact that you don't immediately fawn over cats, reach out and try to pet them, invade their space, etc, is exactly what attracts them to you. Cats aren't like dogs; cats prefer to be left alone so that they can approach you first. A lot of allergic people say that cats are attracted to them, and that's why...cats are much more comfortable with strangers who don't get all up in their faces, ha!

oh I'm so allergic too but I love cats. I carry claritin just in case I find myself around them. I totally breathe weird after being in a cat home for an hour. boo

that collage is awesome! i have the same problem, maybe it's true, because we ignore/avoid them it makes them want us all the more. i am always left sniffling and scratchy.
