Skyride
The other night we headed up the skyride at Grouse Mountain (one of the local mountains here in Vancouver). Unfortunately, the sun was setting as we were waiting at the bottom for the tram (oops!), but we did get a fantastic view of the night skyline and the stars. It was very romantic with just the two of us... and, oh yah, the chatty skyride driver in the tram as well. Since it was quite dark and there was still a lot of snow on the trails, we were also unable to visit the wildlife reserve where there are two orphaned grizzlies as well as some wolves... sigh. We will have to come back here and visit them soon!

Beautiful! We don't have any mountains in Illinois, pretty boring flat lands here! LOL
Wow that is a great night time photo.
You definitely need to head back up. How cool! You are so lucky to live so close to a wonderful place like that!

I really miss the scenery of Vancouver! It is a beautiful city!
How beautiful! I would love to go high into the mountains and catch a view like that. But I'll have to wait on that one, there are nothing but plains all around me. Did the chatty skyride driver kill any of the romance?
Ooh, great photos! It does look very romantic... :)
So beautiful! I've always wanted to visit Vancouver.
Those are awesome pics!! I'm jealous - it is so flat in Manitoba.
