My favorite book EVER is called "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli. It's actually a book for young adults, but it is so wonderful that I would recommend it to anyone. It is the story of a girl who is ostracized by the rest of her high school for being the weird chick, but refuses to let her spirit be broken. It's very uplifting, seriously one of the best books I've read.
