you say tomato

While I was watering the tomato plant on our balcony/patio garden the other day, I took a closer look underneath some of the leaves and was excited to see little green tomatoes growing... at least 8 of them... woohoo! What you see on screen is pretty close to their actual size too... so they are still pretty teeny. Mmm... now all I can think of is fresh salads, roasted tomatoes, and salsa... I will have to choose the recipe wisely though, since I don't know if there are enough of the little guys to make all three!

Isn't it such a gorgeous green? I love the excitement of growing food. I always get a little squeal of delight whenever I see new fruit and veggies. YUM! xo

Yummy! My vote would be to make them into salsa. There is nothing better than fresh salsa made with homegrown tomatoes.

They're coming along quite well, look very healthy. Mine are still struggling, can't seem to knock out that early blight fungus, and it's been raining again. Great for the fungus, but not so good for my poor, pathetic tomato plants.

I am trying to attempt to grow tomatoes too. I haven't actually started but it is something that I have been wanting to do. Your tomato looks really good :-)
