I am so corny when it comes to names but here it goes....
"Sophie's tweet-ness" (she reminded me of a Sophie ... my sister's niece is named Sophie and she is the sweetest little girl ever)
I love your work. She is so cute! xo

I would name it "Erchip". Doesn't that sound like a cute name for a bird? Er is pronounced "Air".

...
Yes . . . I made it up.

JDStar said...

I think the "s" names are popular today! I was thinking Sam, like short for Samantha.

I would call her Tzippi, which is short for "Tzippor" which means BIRD in Hebrew :)

I love this little birdie, since I stink at names I would probably just call him sweet birdie.

Pamela.
I don't know why, it was the first thing I thought of and I like it. I like giving pets and animals traditionally human names.
So if this were my pet bird, her name would be Pamela.

It has got to be based on my little guy's favorite band - The Wiggles. They have this bird song called "Chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep" so it has to be Chirpy!

I'm totally in to giving my pretend animals people names. I have a ceramic snail I call Paul and I have a stuffed monkey called George. He looked like an Edward to me, so proud and proper. ;)

know this is so unoriginal but Robin springs to mind...either Robin or Robyn...Rockin' Robin !

He rocks in the treetops all the day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singing this song
Every little bird, every little bee
Loves to hear the robin go tweet-tweet-tweet

Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Yeah go Rockin' Robin, really gonna rock tonight

Every little swallow, every chick-a-dee
Every little bird in the old oak tree
Wise old owl, big black crow
Put out their wings singing go bird go

Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Yeah go Rockin' Robin, really gonna rock tonight

The chief bird standing at the birdbath stand
Taught him how to do the bop and it was grand
Start goin' steady and bless my soul,
He out-bopped the buzzard and the oriole

He rocks in the treetops all the day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singing this song
Every little bird, every little bee
Loves to hear the robin go tweet-tweet-tweet

Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Rockin' Robin, tweet, twiddley dee
Yeah go Rockin' Robin, really gonna rock tonight

:) Now that's gonna be in my head all day long !
