still blossoming

A few pretty petals spotted at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden recently. This spring has been really cold and wet, so a lot of things are just starting to bloom now. Normally around this time of year, I would be starting our balcony garden... but sad to say, this year it is still really barren. I am too embarrassed to post pics of all the dead plants and empty pots on our balcony right now... so give me a few more weeks to work on it!

ps. better late than never, but my May giveaway will start on Wednesday, so check back to see the details!

We're leaving to visit family soon and had to start our garden. crossing our fingers that the earth warms up a little bit so our seeds turn into sprouts.

We are having just the opposite problem down here in Florida. The temps are alread near 100 and it is only May !!! So everything is either wilted or brown but not because of cold weather. No garden for me this year. :)

Still you are lucky enough to have a garden.
I just have some pots with plants in my flat. But I have to say that I am very proud of my plant. They are managing to survive longer that the others did! ;P
I am sure soon enough you will have a wonderful tree to look at.

It is starting to get VERY hot already where I live. Luckily it's not unbearable yet, so I've been trying to get out as much as possible before it gets too hot. I'd happily share some of our warm weather with you if I could!
