mellow yellow

Spotted... some cute yellow crocus flowers lining the streets by our house. Ok, so spring does not officially begin until March 20th, but seeing these, in my mind, marks the official time when it is ok to be munching down on chocolates shaped like eggs and bunnies... too early?... nah.

Lovely sight, isn't it? We've got them showing through and viewable from the kitchen window of our apartment here in Heytesbury. We're having Spring back to front - daffs and snowdrops in February, then crocuses and then the blackthorn. Normally, it's the other way around. Heaven knows what's in store for us this year - except we're being threatened with a drought! England? Drought? Yup!

Love the yellow crocus. Most we have here, in the Northwest are violet.

Valerie, it is never too early to be eating egg shaped chocolate :)

There are a box of Cadbury Cream Eggs in our fridge right now :)

Have a lovely day, cheers, T. :)

Crocuses are one of my favourite flowers! A little early yet for them here (southern Ontario) but soon - today the temperature soared!!! Spring is on the way!

How pretty! Daffodils are among my favorites because 1) they bloom early and 2) their sunny yellow colors!
