early bloomers

The sun decided to make an unexpected appearance yesterday, so I was able to capture some pics of the early blooms that have snuck up around our condo building. Seeing these, prompted me to look up when the first day of spring would be... ugh... not until March 20th?!! Seriously!? I am shaking my fist at you, Mr. Groundhog!

Wow that is early. It is still wintery here in Kansas. If the squirrels didn't eat all of my tulip bulbs I might have some flowers in a month :) Thanks for posting.

But you just know I'm going to be standing over my little pots with the little seeds ready to poke the moment the calendar strikes 4 weeks until last risk of frost.
