As you can probably tell, I love bird imagery... I can't seem to get enough. This is one of my earlier wood collages where I started pairing kids and birds together. Why is she crying? – perhaps she has lost her pet owl, perhaps her parents won't buy her an owl, or perhaps she is terrified of owls and they bring back traumatic memories. Either way... I couldn't resist collaging the two elements together.

collage: girl and bird
As you can probably tell, I love bird imagery... I can't seem to get enough. This is one of my earlier wood collages where I started pairing kids and birds together.
