My husband and I like to collect things, and one of the small collections we have is a series of Bearbrick figurines. Originally from Japan (although easy to buy here in North America), each Bearbrick design has a different theme - some are based after famous characters, while some are designed by different artists. A few of my fave ones are the Monchichi one (bottom panel, far right), the Eames pattern one (bottom panel, back row, yellow) and the Warhol-inspired yellow and pink camouflage one (top panel, middle). We try to pick up a couple each year to add to our collection. Aren't they cute?

cute i used to collect the gangster figurines and mini minnie mouse/disney
I have never seen these but they're cute. And just yesterday I was trying to describe to some friends how the Monchichi doll had an "O" mouth and a thumb you could put in... they thought I was crazy.
Those are fun!
I've never seen these before! What a fun collection.

LOL, twohappy, I didn't see your comment before typing. I guess we think alike today! : )
I'm glad I could share something new!
Also, Stapelia
I had that Monchichi doll with the mouth! It had those open/closing eyes when I laid it down... not sure if they even make dolls like that anymore. Sometimes one of the eyes would get stuck and it would look really creepy... like sleeping with one eye open!
Oh my gosh, I love these - how cute!
We have the same sort of addiction with these as well as Qees. They are all in storage at the moment :(
Nice collection!
