collage: capturing deer

I love taking photos... and the hubby, well he loves it even more than I do. We are saving up to try and get a Nikon SLR camera (dreamy sigh)... that is high on our wish list right now. I get giddy just thinking of having one. Can you imagine how many deer I could capture with a Nikon in my hands ?... the answer is lots. Let me know what you shoot with and how you find it! Happy Weekend!

This one might be my fave!

Hubby was lucky enough to get his Aunt's Nikon from back in the day; it takes beautiful pics!

Too cute!

My son has two game cameras mounted in the woods out back. You should see some of the shots! I have one saved to post on my blog one day.

Hope you have a great weekend!

My camera is a Sony Cybershot. It's nothing special, but it takes great macro shots so it works well for photographing my jewelry. As for WHAT I shoot, 99% of the time it involves nature. Wildflowers are my favorite things to photograph. In fact, I've got a few pretty pictures up my sleeve right now just waiting to be blogged.

I hope you guys end up getting your Nikon soon so you can take even more awesome pictures to show us!

My Nikon D40 and I are still not buddies. My husband got it for me a few months ago so I can take better pics but darn it - still can't figure it out! Especially when it says that the lens is "not attached". What in the world does that mean? I need a private tutor!

shooting deer - in the best sense. ;-)

i use a getting-old-fast olympus dslr, and i've been really happy with it but am getting the itchy trigger finger for something newer. a nikon 5d would be a dream! for everyday photos i use a canon elph ixy 902IS that my husband brought back from japan recently... perfect for fast & portable use (and yes, my millions of baby photos!). ;-)

I, too, am saving up for a Nikon. With any luck a D90 or D60 will be mine before November (it will largely depend on how the fall festival season goes). Good luck to both of us, that we may soon have the cameras of our dreams.

Nice blog. . . saw your link on etsy!

I have a little Pentax Optio. It does what I need it to for the most part. I take photos of my daughter and things I make for my shop.

Love this new piece! So cute :)

I have camera dreams as well. We have this Nikon consumer thingy that does not allow me to take the shots I want, unless I have time to go through 10,000 menu screens to adjust the aperture and whatnot. I can't wait to get myself a nice DSLR! In the meantime, thinking about getting a Holga to play with since they're cheap and lots of fun!

Oh, you've uncovered the depths of my hearts desires. Cameras! Really, I want lenses now ... but I shoot with a Nikon film SLR and the Olympus Evolt E-500 for digital, both very very good cameras.

Nikon 4200 Coolpix is my old standby for outdoor shots..it doesn't get the close ups that I'd like, hence the new FujiFilm Finepix S1000 that the hubby found for me on www.ecost.com. Now that I've getting the hang of all the new options (I check the white balance like you suggested) I feeling much better about my photo's on etsy :)

I have a Canon Digital Rebel XTi. I love it... although I love it even more since I got a better lens :)

I'm dreaming of a new Nikon, too. My husband has an old one in disrepair from the 1980's. In the meantime, I make do with my point and shoot.
